The single use filter is used when canopy mode or mask mode testing is performed with the QNRG+ Metabolic Monitor. The purpose of the filter is to avoid cross-contamination. Inquiries regarding PVC/DEHP status should be referred to COSMED.

The HME Heat Moisture Exchanger with Antibacterial/Antiviral filter, with a luer lock port, is used for Ventilator mode testing with the QNRG+ Metabolic Monitor when the ventilator circuit does not have an active humidifier

The Antibacterial/Antiviral filter, with a luer lock gas sample port, is used for Ventilator mode testing with the QNRG+ Metabolic Monitor when the ventilator circuit has an active humidifier

The QNRG+ rolling Pole Cart, with Cylinder holder, allows easy transportation of the QNRG+ Metabolic Monitor, as well as its accessories and disposables, to the patient site

The QNRG+ Flow-REE (Pneumotech) is a single use flowmeter placed in series in the patient circuit, allows the in-line measurement of ventilatory parameters (Vt, RF and VE). Required for VENT mode testing of mechanichally intubated patients.

The Canopy Hose is used when CANOPY mode testing is performed with the QNRG+ Metabolic Monitor to connect the Canopy to the QNRG+ Monitor. The Hose is reusable and must be cleaned or replaced monthly (use of antibacterial/antiviral filter and canopy veils are also required but sold separately).

The Canopy Hood Kit (large size) is used for CANOPY mode testing with the QNRG+ Metabolic Monitor. The hood is reusable and must be cleaned after every use (use of the Canopy filter is required). Kit includes: Canopy Hood, Canopy Hose, and Canopy Backpack.

A single use veil is used when CANOPY mode testing is performed with the QNRG+ Metabolic Monitor to enclose the CANOPY and protect from air leaks during patient testing

The QNRG+ Pole Clamp allows the QNRG+ Monitor to be placed on its corresonding Pole Cart for easy transportation to patient side.

The QNRG+ ICU Gas Sampling Pack Is required for VENT mode testing with the QNRG+ Metabolic Monitor and includes 1 each of the following single use items: Ventilator connector, Ventilator sampling line (with yellow connector) and a patient sampling line

When there is an active heated humidifier, the Ventilator Mode test can also be performed using the ICU Patient Connector and the Hydrophobic Filter. The ICU Patient Connector replaces the Standard Filter minimizing dead space and resistance added to the circuit and thus improving patient comfort. The Hydrophobic Filter is then required to prevent water condensation to get into the device, due to the absence of the Standard Filter. Reusable: must be replaced daily or after 5 tests, whichever occurs first.
